Commissioned Artists
Artists were invited to express their interest in presenting a new work at this year’s festival. Tweed Shire based artists, collectives, performers, and creatives from across the shire and Northern Rivers were invited to be part of Lava 2026. Lava Arts Festival is supporting three professional artists from Tweed Shire to present new and experimental work at this year's festival. Its the first of its kind and we are excited to present these new works to the community. This program has been supported by Regional Arts Australia.
