LAVA Arts Festival is more than a weekend of art.
It’s a moment where creativity spills out into the streets of Murwillumbah and the surrounding towns, bringing artists, audiences, businesses and the wider community together.
Launching in 2026, LAVA celebrates contemporary culture across the Tweed region through exhibitions, performances, installations, workshops and events that transform the town into a living gallery.
We invite businesses, organisations and supporters to partner with us and help bring this vision to life.
Together, we can create a festival that inspires, attracts visitors to the region, and strengthens the cultural heartbeat of the Northern Rivers.
