Support Lava Arts Festival

Join us and become a part of this very hot new arts festival. LAVA Arts Festival is set to bring together artists, collectives, performers, and creatives with a connection to Tweed Shire to be part of something very special in 2026. 


VOLUNTEER AT LAVA

With a program full of bold, diverse, and engaging projects that showcase contemporary experimental practices and visual art forms, LAVA is set to carve a new path through the creative landscape in Regional NSW. 

Volunteers will play a vital role in delivering this free community event and we would love to have you along for the ride.

Suitable for anyone over the age of 18 years old.

Volunteer duties may include; being designated to an event site, be an assistance to the installation of artist work hanging and/or share the excitement of what LAVA has on offer over the weekends activities and events. Duties may include;

  • Discuss and direct attendees to activities and amenities

  • Assist at artist workshops

  • Direct any specific enquiries or issues to supervisors.

  • Setting up or packing down events

Once the full program has been released and availability of volunteers is established we will allocate shifts.

Lava Arts Festival is produced and presented by Creative Caldera Incorporated, a dedicated group of local artists and art professionals.
