Botanic art is an ancient craft dating back to the Egyptian, Greek and Roman empires. Julia Hancock has turned the time-honoured tradition of botanical art on its head in her exhibition Breaking with Tradition, adapting thread cross-stitch to further her passion for depicting native plants.
