Jo has a love of all things beautiful, particularly gardens , architecture and the outdoors . She is also an accomplished seamstress. After attending a sculpture course in clay she went on to develop her own style and enjoys creating portraits or busts ( with a whimsical or quirky look). She teaches sculpture regularly from her home studio in Murwillumbah, and has attracted quite a following. Please visit and enjoy the garden setting and her sculpture
Steve Sheridan has been a potter for 45 years, and has recently moved his workshop to Uki. His work reflects his traditional roots and is primarily made in porcelain clay. The bulk of the work showcases Celadon glazes, which stems from his enduring interest in Chinese ceramic history and an admiration for the beauty and simplicity seen in many of those older wares. He also makes significant use of Ash glazes, mainly on larger dishes and moon jars. The current Ash is a mix of wattle and willow ash.
