LAVA Locals celebrates the creative spirit of the former Murwillumbah Arts Trail - Festival Hub, bringing together 15 emerging and established Tweed artists in a vibrant group exhibition at the Murwillumbah Showground. As a legacy project within the LAVA Arts Festival, the exhibition continues the trail’s tradition of showcasing local talent in this historical building with work presenting mixed disciplines across painting, sculpture, photography, illustration, fibre art, ceramics and installation, while creating new opportunities for artists and audiences to connect.
