Learning to Float (2023) was originally commissioned for SiteLAB by Arts Northern Rivers and Lismore Regional Gallery. The flowers floated in a post flood landscape as a call to locals to reconnect with the river and nurture the landscape. The artwork brought together the cleansing nature of water and the cyclical expression of flowers.
As part of the LAVA festival - Learning to Float is a small, joyful presence in a spectacular landscape setting.
