This collection celebrates a lifelong passion for ceramics through elegant crystalline glazed forms, hand-built sculptures, and functional wheel-thrown pieces. Peter Smith's work features wheel thrown forms using Australian clay and challenging crystalline glazing, a kiln-led alchemy where the "kiln god" determines gem-like surface effects that cannot be fully known until the kiln is opened. His plates and platters celebrate Mount Warning (Wollumbin) and the Tweed Caldera landscape. Sonia Porter draws inspiration from rainforest and tropical gardens, creating hand-built works including Garden Goddesses, totem poles, rustic vases, plates, wind chimes and herb stakes, all infused with handmade glazes and natural textures that bring nature's beauty to life in every curve and contour.
