Local Murwillumbah creatives Jamaya Vukicevic, Kayla Sutton, and Marli Wilde come together for a group exhibition that celebrates slow art practices through the hand-made and hand-worn. The artists playfully re-contextualise familiar Australiana symbols; drawing from the domestic, the roadside, and the everyday. Working across a range of materials including recycled textiles, stained glass, mixed media, and paint on canvas, the exhibition reflects a shared desire to make work that is slow, tactile, and slightly offbeat, whilst also reflecting on the importance of cultivating presence in an increasingly fast-paced world.
