GROUNDSWELL is a curated exhibition of contemporary sculpture and creative practice by artists who have exhibited in SWELL Sculpture Festival.

Presented throughout the M|Arts Precinct, the exhibition features works by Mike Van Dam, Vaclav Horacek, Juan Pablo Pinto, Cristian Rojas, Madi Whyte, Emily Hastie, Clayton Blake, Hobie Porter, John Van Der Kolk and Tania Blanchard, alongside invited artists whose practices span sculpture, installation, mixed media and site-responsive work.

Installed across indoor and outdoor locations, GROUNDSWELL explores the relationship between people, art and place, creating opportunities for audiences to connect with contemporary art in meaningful and unexpected ways. The exhibition transforms the precinct into a dynamic cultural landscape where creativity, conversation and discovery unfold through immersive encounters with artworks. By bringing together artists connected through SWELL, GROUNDSWELL extends the festival’s legacy, creating an accessible and engaging platform that celebrates artistic excellence, community connection and the ongoing dialogue between people, art and place.
