My studio will operate as an open, working environment, inviting visitors to step inside and engage directly with my creative process. Throughout the festival, audiences can experience a selection of recent paintings and sculptures while gaining insight into the ideas and methods that underpin my practice.

My work is grounded in the landscapes of the Northern Rivers region, exploring the notion of the 'sublime' through expansive, dramatic skies and moments of heightened colour, light, and atmosphere. These large-scale painted skies are often juxtaposed with human-altered environments, reflecting the tension between natural and built landscapes.

Alongside these works, a series of small sculptures inspired by my assistance dog, Gigi, introduces a more intimate, tactile dimension. Together, the works offer a layered experience—one that moves between vastness and closeness, inviting reflection on perception, place, and connection.
