Helen Rae Douglass and Michelle Walker are two visual artists for whom place is central to their practice. They each bring a different focus - Helen brings her practice of mapping memories of cherished places through the landscapes she depicts and Michelle, her connection to land through her use of natural and salvaged materials. The exhibition will include landscape paintings by Helen and art materials (pigments, handmade paints), handmade brushes and in pens and small sculptures by Michelle.
