Presented by local photographer Bruce Partland, this exhibition showcases a rare collection of photographs taken by his father, John Partland Snr, a Tweed cane grower whose images document the region’s sugar cane industry from the 1950s onwards. Captured on colour transparencies, the photographs reveal the beauty, labour and drama of the cane-growing season.
